Tablature

How to do it

  1. Follow the TAB: two notes per string, climbing diagonally from fret 5 (string 6) up to fret 12 (string 1).
  2. On each string change, shift your hand up: the line crosses boxes 1, 2, 3 and 4 without repeating.
  3. Use slides to join the notes and play it all as a single phrase; then come back down.

Tips

  • This diagonal line replaces jumping between boxes: it is perfect for solos that travel the whole neck.
