Tablature
How to do it
- On each string, play the frets in finger order 1-3-2-4 — frets 5-7-6-8 — before moving to the next string (follow the TAB).
- Run across all six strings with alternate picking and come back with the reversed order (4-2-3-1).
- Keep the idle fingers "planted" close to the strings and press just behind the fret.
- Once it is clean, try other orders: 1-4-2-3, 4-1-3-2, 2-4-1-3…
Variations
- Move the pattern one position higher up the neck each time.
Tips
- If one order feels hard, that is exactly the one worth repeating.
