Feel the accent — basic

Recognise the grouping of three beats in 3/4 with quarter notes only: one quarter note per beat of the cycle.

1. Step 1A pattern in 3/4 with one quarter note per beat and the accent on the first will play.
2. Step 2Count 1-2-3 feeling the strong tap on the 1 and tap each beat.
3. Step 3Recognise the cycle: each time the accent returns, a new measure begins.
