Read figures — advanced

The full range of figures in 4/4: whole, half, quarter, eighth and sixteenth notes mixed into dense patterns.

1. Step 1Patterns will appear with the full range of figures, from the whole note to the sixteenth.
2. Step 2Remember the proportions: each figure is worth half the previous one, and the quarter usually equals one beat.
3. Step 3Subdivide inside to place eighths and sixteenths without losing the beat.
