Read dots and ties — advanced

Combine dots on different figures (dotted quarter, dotted half) with tied eighths and sixteenths.

1. Step 1Dotted quarter and half notes will appear mixed with eighths and sixteenths.
2. Step 2Remember the dot always adds half the value of the figure it follows.
3. Step 3Hold the ties without re-tapping and subdivide to place the short figures precisely.
