Play minor triads — basic

Play the minor triad shown, with simple roots (C, G, F).

1. Step 1Look at the chord shown and play it on the instrument: it is a minor triad (root, minor third and perfect fifth).
2. Step 2The chord can start from any of the simple roots (C, G or F).
3. Step 3Remember the third is one semitone lower than in the major; repeat until you play it confidently.
