Read chord symbols — basic

Read the chord symbol (C, Am...) and play or identify the triad.

1. Step 1A chord will appear with its chord symbol (for example C or Am).
2. Step 2Read the symbol: the letter is the root and the suffix is the quality (no suffix = major, m = minor).
3. Step 3Play or identify the correct chord and confirm.
